Allyson Webster

Allyson Webster practiced primarily personal injury law since being called to the New Brunswick Bar in 1995. She articled and practiced with Gilbert, McGloan, Gillis in Saint John, New Brunswick handling a diverse spectrum of litigation matters for both plaintiffs and defendants. In 1997, she moved to Ontario where she joined the legal team at MacMillan Rooke Boeckle (now Will Davidson LLP) which was involved in the HIV litigation cases in Ontario for a number of years.

Upon completion of the HIV litigation Allyson practiced personal injury insurance defence work and became a Partner at Will Davidson LLP. Allyson has experience at all levels of the courts in Ontario and New Brunswick and has acted for both plaintiffs and defendants over the course of her legal career. She brings over 20 years of knowledge, skill and wisdom to her mediations.

Allyson was trained as a mediator in 2002 through both Osgoode Professional Development Centre and Stitt Feld Handy Group and was accepted as a roster mediator for the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program, a position she held for seven years. Allyson has developed a full time mediation practice and conducted hundreds of mediations involving numerous areas of law. The current focus of her mediation practice is personal injury cases. At the end of 2012, Allyson stopped handling litigation files to focus exclusively on her mediation practice. Allyson is a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators and a member of the Canadian Academy of Distinguished Neutrals
